We are fully licensed re-sellers, dealers, traders and vendors of all products listed. We don't sell knockoffs. We have been dedicated fans of cinema and the haute couture fashion industry for many years and we do not believe in cheap.

All swords, knives, staffs and bows and arrows for sale on this website are for purchase by adults only. Our replica firearms CANNOT be loaded with working ammunition. Most of the sword and knife blades are constructed from metal and are not props. These items are NOT toys, and are to be kept away from children. They are STRICTLY for martial arts, survival (where use of defensive weapon is legal, such as climbing) and supervised blade sports only.

Due to legislation updated in UK in 2008, sale of all swords over 50cm require a copy of membership / eligibility, and proof of age. You must be over 18 to purchase a sword in UK, even a replica Fantasy Sword.

THE COSTUME PORTAL

Unless stated on the item in question, we do not sell screen worn costumes. We sell screen accurate replicas and designs inspired by movies.

 

XS MEDIA / AKIVA

Downloads can be paid for by any checkout option offered. If there are any issues receiving your files, please let us know.

After checkout you will be sent a link and / or file containing the album or single artwork and the audio files.

Downloads can be purchased directly from the playlist through CD Baby, although these will not include album art.


PRIVACY

All customer information is dealt with under the highest discretion. Personal and financial information is only taken and kept for transactional purposes and will only be shared if required by law.

We adhere to a strict anti-spam policy. The only emails our customers receive are in relation to their orders. We may email customers if they abandon checkout, as per our policy of helping customers throughout their experience on our site. We do not send unsolicited emails or newsletters.

 

LIABILITY

All our products, including children's, are for purchase by adults 18 years and over. If any product you are ordering is intended for a child please assume all of the following warnings may apply to that product:

SALES

Your credit card will be checked for fraud risk during checkout.

If the method of payment fails verification it is within our rights to decide whether to take your payment. If you show as high risk you will be reported.

Specifications

Product specifications, prices, ship dates and availability are subject to change without notice. Product prices include full packaging. Tax and shipping is calculated at checkout. Customs charges may be extra.

Pre Order

Items on pre-order are yet to be released from the manufacturer or are yet to be available from the supplier. All pre-order dates are provided by the manufacturer/supplier, and are subject to change without notice. They may be pushed forward or backward, and this is entirely in the control of the manufacturer. We update customers as soon as we receive updates. 

Back Order / Temporarily out of Stock

Items that go on back order may or may not have an ETA. We have no control over the time delays therein. Due to the extensive range of our products, we have a high volume that are not regularly stored in our warehouses. These are also set to back order.

Sold Out

Due to rapid sales, our stock inventory system does not currently use automated warnings for all products. Items may occasionally be out of stock/sold out and therefore no longer available for purchase. If this occurs, you are automatically eligible to order an alternative product up to 110% of the original value or a full refund of the product value minus exchange fees. Availability will always be confirmed at time of purchase. 

Print-on-demand Products

In the event that our chosen Print-on-demand provider has discontinued the item, and no alternative can be found, you will be refunded. Discontinued items may be re-listed at a later date if we find a replacement service.

 

Payment

Our payment systems are secure and reliable. If there are any problems with your payment, or any technical issues with our payment system, it will be in the discretion of the payment system to resolve the issue and reimburse you. All our payment systems deal with all chargebacks/refunds according to their own terms and conditions. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the respective payment systems you have used should you have any complaint. The resolution will be dealt with amicably.

Credit card fees and currency exchange fees are included in item price. They are not recoverable by us from our payment gateway. We regret we cannot refund these charges, hence your refund will be minus this amount. (usually only a few %)

The Costume Portal/Katerina Payments

Customer pays in full, or weekly, on receipt of Invoice from Square or by VIABILL. Due to every costume being custom made, we accept VIABILL as payment however you will still need to wait until we have made your costume before it's sent. If you choose to pay by VIABILL instead of Square Payments, you will also receive it faster since we will be able to set to work on it immediately.

If you clear the remaining balance early, your item/s will not ship until work has been completed. Please allow 12-24 weeks average for costume construction. We will email photo updates regularly.

Items are non-refundable, as these are custom orders.

 

SHIPPING

Delivery times

Where available, estimated delivery times are stated in checkout when choosing a shipping method.

We ship from multiple locations worldwide, so we may not be able to consolidate your order as many of our suppliers have their own shipping department, with different shipping methods and rates. Each item in your order may be shipped separately.

Replacement insurance and product guarantees.

Where possible, electronics come with guarantees. Most of our collectibles come with certificates of authenticity, and will say in the item description. Where possible, shipping includes insurance to the full value of the item which can be claimed in the event of an item going missing in the post.

Items may also become damaged or lost while in transit. Errors in delivery address or courier mistakes have been known to happen on occasion. All shipments include insurance to minimize this risk, however we ask that customers are patient, especially for international orders where Customs may create further delays.

PLEASE NOTE SOME ITEMS ARE ILLEGAL IN CERTAIN COUNTRIES.

Shipping deposit:

Some items cannot be shipped internationally by our suppliers. We have listed these items for sale as we are willing to ship these to you provided you are willing to pay the shipping costs. These items are listed under 'Restricted Shipping' (See Shipping, above, for terms). These items require shipping costs to be confirmed before a final invoice will be sent by email. You will be charged a shipping deposit, which can be as much as 100% of the order total extra, and is set by our supplier. The remainder will be refunded back to you after shipping. The final quote is non negotiable.

If shipping seems high, you are welcome to email us at checkout and query it. We'll double check it for you and always try to provide you the best quote, especially if you have a large or heavy item in your order. We reserve the right to alter or raise shipping costs, or change shipping methods as and when services are available.

Cinestore products are set by default to only ship by Fedex (Free Shipping included). This is because our primary supplier for movie merchandise uses Fedex for all USA shipments.

Customs charges

To ship to some countries, there are customs charges added before the item leaves the USA. In some countries, some items are entirely illegal, for example France and Spain, and cannot be shipped at all. These items WILL NOT be shipped to you and payment will be refunded.

Your shipment may be subject to extra customs checks. This is because high risk objects such as knives, swords may occasionally require additional customs checks to ensure the safety of the destination country it is being shipped to. Customs charges are payable on delivery of the shipment to you. On non-payment of customs charges, your delivery will be returned to the depot. Should this happen we regret we cannot refund you. Please be aware of this possibility when you purchase any weapon from us. 

Hamunaptra Jewelry Shipping

Full insurance and tracking included.(UPS and FedEX only insure up to $500, items over this value will be sent by USPS) If you are paying full or there are no payment terms on the item, these are shipped within 7 days, depending on your location. 

 

REFUNDS

We do not accept refunds on the basis that a package is taking too long to arrive at any of our warehouses. Once you have accepted our terms and conditions, completed checkout and we receive payment, no refunds will be accepted unless the item is damaged on arrival or the wrong item was sent (in which case it will be up to the supplier to decide if they will accept a return.)

Refunds are subject to the individual supplier's discretion, and dealt with on a case by case basis. We regret we cannot refund postage. Do not return items without emailing us first. We will confirm return address should you need it.

 

RETURNS

Hamunaptra Jewelry Returns/Refunds:

If you are a US Customer, refunds and exchanges will be dealt with individually, each case is at the manufacturer's discretion. If something is missing, damaged or a ring doesn't fit, email us first. (Eternity Rings cannot be re-sized)

We are awaiting details, currently ALL orders for Hamunaptra outside of USA are not under warranty or eligible for exchange or refund.

 

Mystical Items Returns:

Contact us at sales@mentalxs.com with the order number and item code. If damaged please include a picture (please no zip files). Report any damaged or missing items within ten (10) days of receipt of order so that we can help rectify and provide a replacement or refund.

All returns should have “RETURNS DEPT.” written clearly on the outside of the box and send it to:

Inside the box, include the order number that you are referring to so that we can properly credit your account. No merchandise will be accepted or replacements issued without prior approval to return such merchandise. Mental XS accepts returned items that are in resalable condition purchased less than 3 months ago. Discontinued items are not credited.

Refused orders that are returned will not be refunded. Filing of damage claims or missing package claims with the shipping provider (UPS, US Postal Service, Fed Ex, Etc…) will be the responsibility of Mental XS, however, we are not responsible for damaged items that are shipped by services that offer no insurance or compensation.
